  • "Spellbound!" Lost in Leela is everything it claims to be and much, much more! It's one of those locations you have to see to believe and a house that has to be experienced. Our family spent last weekend there as part of a surprise treat for my Mum's 50th, and we had a delicious home-baked cake waiting for us on our arrival! - which speaks volumes of the exceptional service we had on our stay. Diane and Bill, our friendly hosts, had really exceeded all our expectations... .  We were hard pressed to decide whether stay indoors and enjoy the house or to go exploring outdoors.  We will definitely be coming back, for a longer stay...

  • A magic place with exceptional hospitality! We love it all! Just class - congratulations Jenny, Brisbane, August 2012
  • Seven of us aged 6 through to 70+ stayed at Leela for a week and we all absolutely loved it. Luxurious accommodation and bedrooms that look out into the treetops make for an amazing start to the day. We walked the tracks , played bush golf and boules, swam in the pool and just relaxed on the deck. And the grounds and the lawns are so pretty and beautifully kept- photos do not do it justice. Diane and Bill were the most perfect hosts, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will absolutely be back and can not recomment it highly enough. Ann, Brisbane, Jan 2013
  • “A touch of class with a laid back atmosphere”
    5 of 5 stars

You have to start with the incredible house. Sunken fire place, soft robes, slippers and a whole lot more. The valley surrounding the house is stunning with a small yet challenging golf course, lovely gardens and beautiful wild life. The owners treated us to a camp fire with drinks and nibblies included. Thanks guys for making the week-end stay such a pleasure. We will be back!!!! Fiona, Brisbane June,2013

  • “Our second visit" My family came back to Lost in Leela for my birthday this year, after spending my birthday last year there also. The house and grounds were immaculately kept.  The views were fantastic. Bill and Diane are truly exceptional hosts. They were kind, caring and very accommodating...great conversation at Sundowners. The surroundings were stunning; it did take us a couple of visits to really explore and enjoy the place. The property is full of little surprises like a herb garden here, or a little pond there, a little cubby house, Bose speakers in the bedrooms, and king parrots visiting in the morning. We couldn't endorse this place enough and can't wait to come back next year! Dr R, Brisbane, July 2013
